Earlier this month, the Anigo team took part in the MYOB API Roadshow. Mobileezy is one of the early implementers of the new MYOB API, and MYOB invited us and a selection of other partners to take part in the roadshow and exhibit our products.
It was a great opportunity to showcase who we are and what we offer, meet some potential new customers, check out the competition and hang out with the MYOB people. We met lots of potential new customers, and it was pleasing to see our stand busy much of the time.
Mobileezy is looking great! It works seamlessly with MYOB's new API in the cloud, and we have our first customers trying it out.
MYOB is still working on finishing the API so there are a few minor things that need tweaking, but most customers will have everything they need. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need details.
The competition was pretty thin on the ground. Actually, there wasn't any! At the moment, it seems like Mobileezy is the only field product order and delivery software that connects with the MYOB API. We have our first customers going live and I’m pleased to report it's going well.
The MYOB people were as helpful and energetic as I have ever seen them. We got the feeling that a lot of hard work over the past few years has all been coming together and they are seeing a whole lot of opportunities lock into place.
Their product range is looking better and better, and they are clearly better at working with partners than anyone else out there.
I think it's still too early to tell whether a pure cloud offering like LiveAccounts or a hybrid offering like AccountRight Live will win the day, but if they can work together with a common API, MYOB will have both bases covered.
We have a number of exciting opportunities that involve MYOB over the coming months including an extra special Partner offer for MYOB consultants, and we're looking forward to a long-lasting partnership.
